Sortiva applicant text notifications — consent information
Last updated October 24, 2026
This page explains how people who apply for jobs through Sortiva can choose to receive Sortiva's own applicant text notifications. It is information only: it is not a job vacancy, not an employment offer, and not a sign-up form. Nothing entered here is saved or sent.
Sortiva is operated by Katie Haakonson under the name Sortiva.
1. What this program sends
Sortiva's own, fixed-template, non-marketing notifications to an applicant about their own application: application receipt with a private screening invitation, screening booking confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notices. The employer name, job title and appointment time are filled in as facts; employers cannot write or change the message text. This program never sends marketing, employer-written messages, hiring decisions, or messages to references.
2. How applicants opt in
On the first step of a real Sortiva job application, the applicant enters their own phone number and, on that same step, sees an optional checkbox that starts unchecked. Consent is optional and not required to apply. Consent is recorded (with the date, time and consent version sortiva-applicant-sms-v1) only when a real applicant submits a real application with the box ticked. It is never transferred to employers or anyone else.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Full details are in the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy. Questions: connect@sortiva.studio.
3. Preview of the application consent step
Below is the same consent block used on live application pages, shown as a preview. It is not connected to anything: there is no submit button, nothing is saved, and no texts are sent from this page.
Preview only — not an application
This is the number we call for your screening and, only if you tick a box below, the number texts are sent to.
These texts come from Sortiva about your application to the employer named on the job page. This permission covers Sortiva's own application notifications only — it does not give the employer or anyone else permission to text you, and it is separate from any employer texting permission.
